Took this image of my 10 year old Godson, while he was enjoying a day at Old Orchard Beach, ME. Which do you think looks best and why?

In addition to PS CS2 I used a program called Virtual Photographer for some of the PP.

I like the first two the best. I am not too crazy about the last one. I am not a big fan of sepia tones...

It looks like you may have been shooting at a high ISO on this one. If you run it through a noise reduction filter, it would really clean it up, and the first one would be great!

Maybe its just my screen though... now that i am looking at other stuff I think I may be having a problem...

no it is really noisy and could use some reduction.. the first one for me as well.. nice shot.

add me to first, and as others have said, seems like really high ISO here, and heavy crop to boot. maybe using png would help, or at least higher quality jpg (doubt that the noise is really that high, more likely artifacting)

The original image was shot at ISO 200 and it was not a heavy crop. What you perceive as noise in the original image is the result of a heavy fog that day.

In the other two you have combination of the fog and PP which give the images a very grainy look.

I like the first one the best. The conversions for this picture just don't do it for me. Love Old Orchard Beach! Was there in June! Great pic though!

For me the first is best. surprised being in the water at OOB he is not Blue.......
