I am shooting on a EOS600D and printing on a Canon i865. In between is a new iMac running OSX 10.2 and Photoshop 7.
Problem is that what I see on the screen and what gets printed are radically different, ie the prints are much darker than the screen and have a slight violet tint.
I have set the camera to Adobe RGB colourspace, ditto Photoshop. Camera Image files are jpegs with minimum compression. I then convert to .PSD for processing and print directly from Photoshop. I have experimented with the screen contrast control but the difference is way beyond its range. Any advice would be gratefully received.
