Hi people – I’m a web designer and have just bought the domain name imagevote.co.uk, as I thought it would be a nice idea to have a website where forum members could easily upload there photographs for other members to view and cast there vote and share there opinions.
My initial thoughts would be to break down the gallery’s into the following sections…
Architecture
Nature
Objects
Sports
People
Details and Close-Ups
Night photography
If anyone has any other suggestions or ideas I would love to hear from you!
Thanks,
Steve.

I think usefilm.com has some good ideas. Maybe look at that and see where you think it can be improved...

Hi wibbly and many thanks for the feedback mate ;) I’ll study the site and pick what I feel would hopefully be the most relevant items for inclusion for the forum members.
Thanks again, anyone else got and suggestions or ideas that they would like to share?
Thanks,
Steve.

Also look at fotopic.net, and fototime.com. Those and usefilm are all good for different reasons, IMHO.
You have a lot of competition out there!

Hi again mate ;)
My thoughts for the site were not really to be a monster commercial site containing products advertising shops forums etc.
But more a small community where members of the board could submit there favourite images for other members to quickly view and vote/pass comment on - along with detailed information with how the image was taken lens/flash used camera settings etc.
I would split the images into categories so that users could find there preferred images with ease…
I.e.
Architecture
Nature
Objects
Sports
People
Details and Close-Ups
Night photography
Thanks for the input!
