Have you found a "lucky" or "magic" number of proofs to show your clients?

Do you show all of your "first cut" photo's or do you trim down to the "lucky", "magic" number?

What's that number for you?

Sometimes too many photos, just seems like too many photos to choose from.

What do you think?

What do you do?

Thanks for sharing:D

I show the customer however images are needed to represent the day properly. From 8 hours coverage I tend to show around 300-400 images, from the 900 or so I take.

I tend to find around 30% of those I shoot make the final portfolio which varies from 150 for a small wedding up to nearly 400 for a big all-dayer.

All sorts of factors will determine the final total and you just have to go with whatever hand the cards deal for you.
