I've been a bit slow in getting my shots from Saturday's classic sorted out. I've managed a few pitlane ones for now, with the track stuff to come at some point soon(ish).

My last minute decision to make the trip to Silverstone on Saturday was rewarded with what was possibly my most enjoyable day at a racetrack this year (Goodwood included). The freedom to roam the paddock and pitlane while 60's & 70's F1 cars were fired up all around me made it a fantastic experience.

As usual, feel free to comment & critique....

Nice stuff, Paul. You even got a thumbs up from Judy "Mobile Chicane" Lyons!

I love to look at good pit lane shots, and these are excellent. I wish Arai and Bell would make more FIA legal helmets for the classic racers as new style lids look so out of place with the cars.

Something different, I like them a lot
The B &W makes all the difference

They are very cool. The shot of Rupert Keegan's car is wonderful.

Do you know if it still has the British Air Ferries logos on it?

Really nice shots! Good observation, KennyG. If it weren't for the helmets, you'd think they were shot 30 or so years ago.

Great shots, love the fact that mono really gives the feeling of yesteryear to them and the depth of field is spot on.

Excellent - The B+W really does give them the edge and that nostalgic feeling that most of us of a certain age love.............
