Well, my best friend got married, so taking pics and standing in the wedding party were challenging at times, but let me know what you think....

Canon DREB XT, 18-55 Kit lens, no P-shop....just resized.

the indoors ones are a bit dark, but the outdoors ones with the church in the background are awesome!!

Love the outdoor shots! Only wish that that white shack on the right was gone. Maybe try to clone, or crop it out if possible.

Very good shots Johnny. I converted your images to links because they exceeded the image posting rules. Please review IMAGE POSTING RULES,http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=51022 . Welcome to the forum.

Some nice images there, esp. outdoors (as others have said). I didn't go for the horizontal orientation of some of the pics, eg. at the doors and leaning against the column. I just felt like I wanted to see more of the bride's dress, and the background lent itself to a vertical orientation too.

The low shot with the grass in the foreground (3301) was creative, but I would have liked it without the foreground too. Maybe from a higher angle?

All in all, you've done well. Hope you don't mind the criticism ... it's intended to be constructive :-) Keep it up.

Not too bad. I think with some cloning work some of those outdoor shots can clean up nicely. I feel that all of the Queen Ann's Lace in the foreground of a lot of those outdoor shots detracts from the shot (along with the white shed). They can all use a little contrast/brightness pop, as well. Keep plugging away!

thanks for the comments and critiscism guys.

On the indoor pics, we were not allowed to use a flash during the ceremony for fear of blinding the Priest while he was reading from the book, so it was hard to get good shots with the poor lighting and no tripod.

I am going to be a bridesmaid for a friend in a years time, but there is NO way i am taking a camera and taking shots while i am standing in line next to the B&G lol to me it looks kinda tacky and rude? Sorry if that is harsh but that's totally my opinion and i just wouldn't do it!!

They are just snapshots IMO, the last few would be good with more contrast, they just dont pop out to me because the colours are flat.

Generally if i am a guest i let the photog do their own thing, i think the more camera's at a wedding the more people want to get in the way of the photog lol. I have done it once before, only because my friend asked me too - as the photog was leaving at reception and she got me to do the getting ready, first dance and cutting of cake while the pro did the rest.

Great looking bride! There's hope for me yet! :)

I like the outside ones. A little unsharp mask would probably make them pop a little more.

Just a few comments of a technical angle..

The indoor needs a look at whitebalance, the are to redish..
The outdoors all need contrast and colorboost. The brides dress are kinda purple/bluish.
easy technic to fix that...
Select the dress, the way you would ordinarly and the ctrl U for saturation, select edit and choose cyan, and set to -65 and choose blue and set to -65 and voila, you will have a white dress...The dress is a bit burned out, but nothing that cant be fixed in the org. raw file..
I made an little example
