Hi,
I’m looking to purchase a new printer and was wondering what you all think of the EPSON 850 or the Canon i950.
I live in the UK and the price is about the same for each.
I would very much appreciate any comments.
Cheers

I used to be an Epson user up until the 750. After having some problems, I decided to try the Canon i950. It does great photos and is very fast. If you use the Easy Printer software that come with it to print photos, it wants them in jpg form. But you can also print any format from your digital imaging software.

Hope this helps

The i950 was recently replaced by the i960. It does everything the 950 did and more, for around $50USD less. Here's a related thread:

I really like mine, well the replacement unit anyway (not Canon's fault, but the shipper's rough treatment).
