Hello... I've been lurking around this section of POTN for a few days trying to find a process or workflow for doing my post processing. I've seen a lot of tutorials on the different aspects of post processing, but nothing that really indcates what a good, 'rule-of-thumb' workflow would be...

When I sit down to do PP, I generally start with Curves adjustment, but then I tend to head off in all different directions and I can't seem to get the same results twice... I've tried adjust Exposure first then on to Curves, then Contrast, then Hue, then color and I've done it in many different combination in different order. I always seem bounce back and forth and then get so far from what I intended that I end up just x-ing out of it.

So, is there a guideline for the different steps in post processing?? If not, tell me what you do and how it works for you.

Thanks!!!

Dark

Thanks for the tutorial!! I finally had the chance to watch it (radiantvista) and that is exactly what I was looking for!! I can't believe how far off the mark I was in my process and utilizing the different Layer adjustments improperly.

Much apprecitated!!!

These links are priceless. Just the sharpening one alone improved everything I did 3 times over.
