Help with deciding a school

Hey,
I just graduated and I am taking the year off. Next year I want to go to a photography school but I am not sure what one. I am looking into brooks but it is rather far from home and of course rather expensive. I am from oregon so do you guys know of any good schools here? I want to do portrait photography. Thanks!
