I received my Tokina 12-24mm today. Too blazin' hot to go outside but here are a few snaps from the relatively cool indoors.

Thanks...yeah it's a whole new world to 24mm. I love my 24-70L but it sure pissed me off when I needed wider and couldn't have it. lol.

LOL that pic prompted me to. I didn't even realize it was off since I don't hang out in the living room much.

Great shots - I really like the perspective watching the kid build a tower and knock it down again.

I love the last shot and the timing of the little one knocking down the bricks. Congrats on your purchase!

Sure gives some length to the first shot. Not too keen on the last two but I have never been a fan of angled photo's. I just don't see the point of it. Each to their own though.

Criticism over - the first one is the best for me. the boy with his back to the camera & the long shadow behind him along with the perceived length of the room gives me the impression of a child lost in unfamiliar surroundings. The B&W conversion strengthens the impression even though I guess these were taken in your own home.

Thanks all. I'm having fun with it. Here's another image. Nothing artistic, just playing.

These are great shots! The first and forth really stand out for me (it looks like the blocks are suspended in mid air), but the colors in the fifth are great!

Oh man, why did you have to go and do that?

A wide angle has been on my list for a while, you're almost tipping me over the edge :-)
