Hello,
I have recently become the proud owner of a canon i960. i'm pretty green since this is my first photo printer. any tips on settings, ink, paper, etc that ya'll could share would be very appreciated!
I've printed out a few 4x6's but have only done so with the white border, thus far. when i try and go borderless it gives me a warning about the size, so i've not got that figured out yet either.
with re to paper, what i've seen is very expensive. Any reasonable places to purchase good quality paper is also appreciated. ;)

NG hi! On the borderless printing I pretty much use paint shop pro . and I have to stretch the picture a little. If you use the easy photo print that came with the printer it should snap right on to the size of the 4x6. As far as paper goes I buy the 4x6 Canon photo pro at my local Staples or Office Max I think it was 50 for around $10.00 I'm also a member of a Sam's club and a BJ's wholesale club and they have pretty good prices on the Kodak papers. Don't know if you've got a wholesale club near you or not. Like I said in an earlier post I've also been able to find photo paper at the REAL discount stores Like 'Big Lots' etc. I think at sams club I bought 50 or 60 sheet box of Kodak 8-1/2x11 for around $20 course then you have to have a paper cutter but you can group several pictures on one sheet, it's a little cheaper. Hope this helps. :) :)
P.S you have to try some of the canvas photo. I did see that at a local 'Best Buy' . I did manage to find a package of Legacy canvas at a discount store 25 sheets for $2.99 great find :D

You can check out Staples:

and Target or Walmart aren't to bad on price. You have to remember it's still cheaper than film :D :D
