Silverhawk,

welcome to the forum :D

I like the shots, but they would even be better if you had paid more attention to the background.

Some pointers
... I usually use AV mode for this kind of images and set the aperture to something like f/5.0 on a G-series
... pay attention to your ISO!!! No more than ISO 50 for me on a G series. Just use a sturdy tripod.

Best regards,
Andy

PS: Looks like a nice car as well, although I'm partial to either the older Trans ams (Remember "Smokey and the bandit"?) or Mustangs...

Well, the best settings will depend on what you're trying to do, and what you don't like about the various shots. If we don't know what you consider the problems to be, we can't very well make meaningful suggestions. That said, the white balance for the Tv shots looks to be off (Mercury vapor lighting), while it's much better in "Auto" where you used the flash. Either try a custom white balance for the non-flash shots (although with Hg lighting that's still likely to be a bit off) or shoot under different lighting conditions, which may mean changing vanues.

thanks guys :) mostly the problem was i needed a tripod. going to pick one up today. my biggest concern was the clarity of the pics around the wheels and such. as for the background i was at work on my lunch not many nice things to shoot in front of over there. im still learning about the different options and that no matter how hard you try you cant hold the camera still for 5 seconds.

Well, if those are hand-held at 5 secs, you are one steady person. They actually look pretty good, #2 and #4 especially. Like Andy mentioned, a less cluttered background would help. Get yourself a tripod and you're well on your way.
