Cool I was thinking of going out to a local chrome shop, truckers with the super nice chicken haulers as they are called all chromed out hang around those and the washes here in the states. Could be some cool pictures. Nice one you got there.

Oh, I just so happened to get a shot of a big rig after a big storm and during a wonderful sunset. . . Last Saturday evening Westbound US IL 64 | 20 miles West of MT. Vernon.

ah CDI, then you also discovered -as I did- that the frontal shot has its problems: the front is moving faster than the rear maybe, but whatever, you can have the front in focus or the middle or the rear, but seemingly not all 3.

LOL yeah I noticed that. I took like 50 shots thinking maybe I was poorly tracking the subject. I guess you need 1/4000th shutter speeds or something. *shrug*

cdi-ink: What's that on the flatbed trailer? It looks like a Hummer with a huge AC unit sitting on its top.

I do believe that's what it was. I didnt get perfect focus but viewing 100% it looks like an industrial central air unit.

OK, I know its an old thread but I'd like to see more trucks. I'll have some soon but not any just yet. There's some cool ones come and go thru our depot from time to time. And a nice Lord of the rings one that works for us (Toll Express).

Does this qualify as a truck pic? It definitely is big enough! 28 8th graders piled into this one as they were headed off to their 8th grade dance. Limo/Bubba truck deluxe! :-)

Okay, the truck I travel in at work may not be as big as some of the others posted here, but I bet it has more bang for the buck!!

These pictures were taken at a training exercise a while ago, the soldiers are members of the British Armys Royal Logistic Corps, they are Ammunition Technicians by trade and they have responsibility for anti- terrorist bomb disposal carried out by the Army(among a whole host of other jobs!).

3. The No1 EOD Operator returns from a manual approach in his protective EOD suit. The suit weighs 32Kg and gives the operator a high degree of protection from blast and fragmentation.

4. This is the "Wheelbarrow" ROV that the British Army uses whenever possible to render safe a terrorist device. No other peice of equipment has done more to save EOD operators lives than these machines.

I know the image quality isn't very good in these, but they were just snap shots taken on the spur of the moment. Thanks for looking.

Just one more.

WOW!!! That's crazy!!! Here they would've tear the truck apart, load it on 3-4 trucks and rebuild it on site.

edit: I thought I didn't have any truck pictures. Here's a picture of the rig my uncle drives.
