Do you think I can fit a 580ex, 430ex, off-camera shoe cord, spare AA batteries/CP-E3, and a pack of Tic Tacs in this thing with no problem?

Nevermind. Looking at the specs, probably not. I think it should accomodate the two flashes with no problems though, no?

I think you're pushing it with the tic tacs ;)

but looking at it, i don't think you'll have a problem with what you've listed to carry. I've just had a look on cambags.com but can't seem to find a review or listing for this bag, maybe its new?

It's such an elusive object, the Utility Case. I was after one for my Lowepro system, but when I was last at the store (one of the biggest Lowepro stockists in the UK), they'd sold out.

If you buy one, some pictures would be really helpful, as would details of the Sliplock loops on the back.

I stopped by my local camera shop and they didn't have the SF Utility Case in stock. I ended up buying the SlipLock Case 60 AW instead. I mounted it on the side of my 75 AW and it works great. I can fit either both the 580ex and 430ex, off-shoe cord and spare batteries, or my current configuration which is the 580ex (430ex moved to the front compartment of the 75 AW), 2x Extender II, off-shoe cord, and spare AA batteries. With a little bit of readjusting a can probably fit a couple more small little extras in there as well. Nice little utility case w/ a built-in all-weather protective cover typical of many accessories in the Lowepro SF series. Look for me to post how I've got my Lowepro CompuTrekker AW and Toploader 75 AW configured in the "Show Me Your Camera Bag" thread within the next few days.

Mayhap if you leave out the Tic Tacs :p . I use one for my twin flash which is bit bulky with the heads and bracket, loads of room for spare AA batteries and bits and bobs in the front zip pocket (pic (http://www.zen20934.zen.co.uk/photography/images/bags/IMG_0799%20copy.jpg)). Not having either of the 580ex, 430ex I can't give a definitive reply.

FYI the 24-EX Control unit is 74 x 126 x 97mm.
Canon say the 580ex is 76 x 134 x 114mm, so I think you may get both flashes in upright and have a spare slot in the main compartment.
