Looking for a back pack style bag.
Must fit 2 bodies, 10D, 5D.
3 lens with hoods, 8, 135, 200 (hoping that I get the most talked about lens).
Grip, flash, batt pack, chargers, xbatts, and maybe laptop.
Currently using back pack without padding- I put my lens in socks- so I thought it was time to invest and protect my most beloved gear. I would love it if it had some sort of strap for teh tripod.
Thanks POTN forum.
BTW: I saw a really good deal on CL- San Fran- 10D and 2 lens $899? Something like that.

I use a Tamrac Expedition 5. Its fairly compact but fits: 20D wBG3 and 70-200Lmm, 20D body, 17-40L, 100mm Macro, flash, and all kinds of etc.. Tripod straps on with a pocket for one leg. Lots of battery/CF card storage. Very comforatble straps and waist belt. If this isn't large enough, they have Expo 6 and Expo 7 which are even larger. I like mine.

Today I purchased a Tamrac Expedition 7. It fit me very well and has way too much space for my small set of equipment. :) I also tried on a Lowepro Photo Trekker but the waist belt was too high for me.

Another happy user of a Tamrac Expedition 8 here. Let me give you some advice that I learned from reading these forums and a host of reviews on the web: buy a larger bag than you currently need. Apparently, there is a lot of buyers' remorse after a bag is purchased to meet current needs, and then after you get an additional lens or two or a Speedlite, the bag is too small and you are shopping again. I don't come close to filling up my Expedition 8, but I know I will have expansion room for a while.

I have the Tamrac Expedition 8 and already it doesn't take everything. BUT here's the point. You will bever find a bag to carry all your gear, that you can physically carry. I have nearly all my kit in this and it's hard to get on my back, let alone adding a laptop. The bag is AMAZING and I have no regrets, but I do have to repack for each shoot. However, I don't need macro lenses doing motorsport !!! ;)

Think long and hard about if you just want the bag for storage or if you want it for going to shoots. I have a cupboard and a good backpack. Works well for me.
