Is it possible to improve the hidden/public attribute of EE?
Is it possible to create seperate logins for the hidden exhibitions leaving the public exhibitions / groups visible? It would be nice to have a clear structure with the index page structure set up as following:
- group 1 public (or hidden which makes all exhibitions hidden)
- exhibition 1 public
- exhibition 2 hidden
-
...... .....
- group 2 .....
The exhibitions are only listed on this first page to give the viewer an idea of what is in a group. Only the group text is an active link to the home page of a group, listing the exhibitions which are active links. Microthumbs are only shown if the exhibition is not hidden.
When you click on a hidden exhibition you will receive a popup login requiring a username and password. The admin can distribute and create users and passwords. (which are maintained in the database) There should also be a system where people can request access.
I think this would be a great improvement of the hidden/public attribute of EE. Are there any more ideas?
