Gathering momentum and sponsorship, Earthrace is touring the world prior to attmepting to set a new world record for faster circumnavigation of the Earth. Here are some photos from today while it was docked in Seattle:

Looks radical. I wonder if 100% of that design is functional. Any idea how long it will be docked in Seattle? I'll be there in a couple weeks and wouldn't mind checking it out.

CLD have an animation of it going through a wave and some movies of 6m concept versions.

The vessel is here for this weekend only and then is heading south along the west coast. I recommend that you visit the Earthrace website and see where it is at later.

It looks like that boat that was smashed in to by the Japanese whalers, but that one was black. Pretty cool looking.

It was that boat, after what that boat achieved taking it down there was criminal.
It should have been in a museum.

I guess it really is bad luck to rename a boat.
