anyone got any ideas for a good tripod that isn't to overly priced, something good for wildlife/nature, and a little help with some studio work?

Same old recommendation that's been repeated countless times here.... Bogen/Manfrotto 3021BPro topped off with the Bogen/Manfrotto 488RC2 ball head. It's a combination that's hard to beat for versatility, stability, and a very reasonable price.
