I have a gallery of Orchid macro photos on my newly created web site:

I have found the G1 camera to very easy to use for this type of photography and the results are self evident.
No supplemental lenses are used, just a very rigid tripod and lens stopped down to F8.
Natural lighting is my favorite but I have shot indoors at orchid shows just using the available lighting .

If you click "help" on the top right menu on this page, you'll see. Basically you just type waht's left there and the board will translate it to an image. :eyes
