Is there a fill in flash on the 10D? It was just a matter of pressing a button on my CP 990 and so far I haven't needed it on my 10D, but after a comment about one of my photos, I have been trying to find instructions in the manaul, to no avail, or perhaps they call it something else? (I don't have an external flash yet).
