So I had to go to Sacramento today and on the way back the moon looked so cool that I had to stop to get a picture of it. I stopped off at Boreal which is a ski resort at the top of the Sierra Nevada's. The sun had set on the pond where I was sitting to take the picture and as you can see the sun was still shining up on the moon directly and the top of the mountain. C&C more than welcome on this one. I would love to take pictures like this all the time, maybe I should have used the setting where it takes the same picture under-exposed, then regular, then over-exposed and put them through PS but I was hand holding and didnt have my tripod with me.
