hum, they are not pointing to the right place. when you go to your gallery, go the pic you want to choose and click it and it should just show the image, not the page. copy the address in the address bar from their and then click the little image icon on here and paste the address in the box that comes up, and you should be fine.

the first one is nice, and you did well with the available light. the second one seems a little blurred, but nice none the less.

I really like the last shot there - its different to what you usually expect to see when looking at motorsport shots!

well imo overall shots are pretty nice and i have nothing bad to say about them :) :-p

well about last shot is pretty cool and its difrent from waht everybody does but if that was a work for a newspaper

btw imo when shoting rally its alwyas good to chatch some spectators in bg ... i knhow its not always possible but imo stays really cool

Not many of those around here..
The only place the spectators are allowed, are near the start of some of the stages.. The exciting landscape areas, are often out of bounds.

This was a difficult rally for spectators the drop on the otherside of the road was about 600ft. I did stand there and take shots as well. NZ Rallies tend to only have small areas for spectators close to stage ends or road intersections. Unfortunately it is where most photogs go as well. I really try and get away from the other photogs as much as possible so I get different shots. we certsiinly dont get the huge spectator crowds in NZ like in Europe, but we will see when the WRC is here in November.

I haven't shot any WRC yet. despite living close to the 3rd stage. this year I really have no reason not to.

When I did go to the rally of rotoura a couple of years ago the guys that I went with had a press pass on his car. Which means that before the stage is closed for racing we can go anywhere on the stage :)

the only down side was when all the top cars had done there bit we couldn't move on.
