Hey everyone, I realize POTN stands for Photography-on-the.net (which IMO is ridiculously clever!). BUT I keep seeing threads (like in the People section) about POTN stuff. I'm assuming this is where members from the forums get together and hangout/take photos? I wasn't sure if that was correct, so thought I'd ask here!

This seems like a very good forum to me, and a great community too.

This seems like a very good forum to me, and a great community too.

I think your seeing photos and conversations about POTN meets... and is exctly what you think it is.. Different members who get together for shooting, fun conversation etc.... the member activities generally hold the information for upcoming meets and if you keep an eye out you may run into one happening in your area.. Or you can start a thread about a meet and see who's close to you and interested.

Actually yeah, I did see that! That's pretty cool, but I think I might be more into small grouped local stuff. Either way, very neat!
