I just ordered an 11x16 test print from photo access to compare to my epsom stylus C84's prints. They apparently expose the digital file onto photo paper. Is this service very good, and if so who is the best at a low cost. Of course the dryjet process is the best, but for family and friend's portraits I want a decent, inexpensive source of prints.
The thing I still don't like about inkjet printers is that the ink is sprayed on, and so the color isn't imbedded in the print like photographs. The detail is there, but not the rich depth that a photo has. Also the gloss overlays the color.
I guess I'll find out if they're any good in a week or so. Six bucks for an 11x14 isn't bad at all.
