dpi and tiff, what the???!!!

i have to send a photo via e-mail but it has to be in tiff format with 300 dpi. i got a s45 camera and i'd like to know how i'm supposed to turn jpeg pics into tiff and how i can verify the dpi.

Which image editor software are you using ? Photoshop or Paintshop Pro ? which version ? Unless you tell us, it will be difficult to explain what you have to do. I have Photoshop 7.

WOW...i hope you have a Broadband connection.

e-mails are normally sent in jpg format.

tiff format (uncompressed) is normally a format sent on a CD...most are 18mb +
