I somehow managed to get myself suckered into shooting my uncles wedding at the end of last month. With no prior wedding experience it's not really something I wanted to take on but given the circumstances it was me or nothing. I'm just starting to use CS2 to create photo galleries so please forgive that it's not the most professional looking thing. I also apologize for making people click a link, I prefer imbedded images but this is all I have online at the moment.

Feel free to comment or critique. My hats off to those who can do this week after week and stay enthusiastic and create beautiful images. I found the whole thing to be exhausting, although sort of fun.

Hey come on, its not that bad :-P:D
It IS exhausting, there's no doubt about that, but also very rewarding if you enjoy shooting people and expressions

I wouldn't call it bad, but it's not my style. I generally go out of my way to keep people out of my photographs, but that probably wouldn't have gone over well with this event. I managed to survive the event, there was a pro videographer who was really helpful and the d.j. kept things lively at the reception. It was a fun time, but the next time a relative asks me to do it I'm fleeing the country.

I'm leaving for the Great Smoky Mountains on Saturday to find some nice non-human subjects ;)
I still have to figure out what I'm supposed to do for prints, don't know if I'm providing them or if I'm giving him a CD with edited Jpegs and let him to Walmart. Normally I'd be happy to send them to a lab, but I'm not really expecting to see a penny from this and I've already got 12+ hours of work put in. I think anyone who tries to negotiate/lowball a wedding photographers prices should be forced to shoot a wedding themselves to see how much work it is.
