Quick Counter Question

Hi All,

I have seen on some people sites that they have a photo counter(view counter) per photo, is this something that is available in EE, I am unable to find the option to turn this on, can someone help please?

Is it possible to have a counter per Exhibition?

If these counter aren't availe in EE, can someone explain how to create them manually.

Basicall I would like to see how many times a photo is viewed, ideally also rolled up into exhibition, if not a visual counter some sort of report that shows me what photos are most viewed.

I found show counters under Misc Settings , counter is also checked under "Detail list 1 & 2 Items"

"Show exhibition photo count" is "yes"

Check exhibition editor's "CUSTOM LIST PAGE DEFAULT SETTINGS" for detail list setup.

By enabling "show counters" in misc settings you should see a counter under photo page (photo counter) and under list page (exhibition counter). Detail list counters are not related to that setting.

"Show exhibition photo count" shows how many photos there are, on index page.

im running "EXHIBIT ENGINE 1.5 beta 4", does it exist in this version? or is it in another version?

If its in thsi version I cannot find ""CUSTOM LIST PAGE DEFAULT SETTINGS" for detail list setup"

if someone can help i would appreciate it

The latest version is beta 5 fix pack 2. But as you are in beta 4 the counter system is simpler so there should be no problem to get them in view. Maybe the easiest and fastest way to get your problem solved is that you mail me your input folder pekka AT photography-on-the.net and I'll drop in and see what the problem is.

OK, I checked it all and it all looks just fine. There is

- total counter (under news)
- "Combined page views in this exhibition is XXX " in bottom of each exhibition browser
- counter graphs listing works and displays 5 most popular photos.
- "all exhibitions combined" listing page shows correct total count
- photo hit counter under each photo page
- detail list counter

Perhaps I do not understand what you ask - maybe there is something missing in EE feature list?
