Hi!
I'm thinking of buying a telephot lens. On the one hand I think the Canon 70-200 F4 L is a good lens in an adeqaute price. On the other hand the Sigma 100-300 F4 APO HSM gets good results in the most test.
Also the +100mm focal lengh would be fine. With the canon you had to use the extenders, wich is a 300 € thing! so the sigma seems to be a lot cheaper!
anybody who's tested both? any experiance?
Thanks
Peter

Hey!
http://www.cmpsolv.com/cgi-bin/output2.cgi
and
http://www.photozone.de/
are almost the same identical site although it appears Photozone has a better front end. I wonder who really maintains that data base? : )

Go on the photozone site and click on the Sigma 12-24 "review". It's a lovely "English as she is speaked" translation for this "novelty" lens.
