Chris Breeze has updated Downloader Pro to version 1.2. Those who want to change the FEC in their 300D can now use Downloader Pro.

Kudo's to Chris for adding this functionality to Downloader. It was discovered that his 10DRemote program could set the FEC for the 300D. Rather than keeping it to just that program, he added it to his Downloader product.
If you're still using Canon software to transfer images from the CF card to your computer, you really should check out Downloader.
