28-105 USM Blown up scheme

Well, I guess teh title says much of what I want...

Does anybody know where can I find a blown up scheme od the EF 28-105mm USM 1/3.5-4.5, so I can clean the inner lens of it?

Like a detailed build plan and nomenclature? You basically want to find out how to take it apart and put it back together again, eh?

If that's the case, I'd pay canon to do it, because if you take it completely apart and put it together again, there's no telling if it would need to be recalibrated, the focus would be off, etc. It's not that pricey, I don't believe.

i use to have a bookmark for a site that had the parts and general construction of all canon products, so it is out there, but it would be very difficult to find.

Why would you want to clean the inner lens element? If you just have some minor dust in the lens, it's not going to impact the image quality. If you've got something major in there, then you're much better off sending it to Canon as they'll determine and correct the source of the major particles.

ummm... first inclination is to agree with Ron. Send it to Canon and let the pros take apart your glass and put it back together..
