I tried to get a nice shot of these flowers which were hanging on a vine in my backyard from my next door neighbors yard. They are just gorgeous flowers. It was really hard to isolate one flower from the others on the vine and I also had a tough time because it was windy. I took about 25 shots with two different lenses and just picked 2 for posting. I am never completely happy with my results.
The first one was taken with my telephoto lens and the second with the kit lens. CC welcome.

Very well done despite the wind. I have this vine growing in our backyard too and my husband wants to cut it down.

Thanks for the nice comments, Dimitri, Gary and Char. I really value your opinions.
I think the branches on these vines get so thick that they can knock down whatever they are growing on, especially if it is a fence or wooden trellis. You can see the metal chain link fence behind the second shot but my neighbor has it growing on a metal trellis so it does no damage to the fence. It would be a shame to have to cut one down.
