No's 4 and 5 are my favourites. I like the effect of the star trails in 5, if you could have got that in number 4 it would have been stunning. Well done!

cheers

What's the exposure time on 1 and 5? I'm curious about the length of your star trails and how long it took to get each length. My favorite composition is 4 and imho the best sky is in 1 as far as star trails go.

great shots! I agree with Bill on that #4 would have looked really nice with trails as well but it still looks cool with so many stars in the sky alone.

theague: the exif on #1 shows the exposure time as 600.000s (10mins) and #5 at 480.000s (8mins)

I think I read somewhere that star trails start becoming visible after 30 seconds. Can someone confirm that?

#3,4,and 5 are my favorites here. These are well exposed and composed, neat star trails too.
