Hiya Brian,
Beautiful shots, I've never been a fan of Glads but Water lillys now that a fiffenant kettle of fish, that a beauty, nice & fresh.

Very nice shots Brian, the lighting in #2 is strikingly beautiful. Not quite sure on the crop/framing though.

You've nailed the exposure in the 2nd shot perfectly! Great work ;) The 1st one is very colorful ;)

Dave. Agree re the composition in #2- it was the best I could do at the detail level I wanted the lilly at and getting the whiole flower in the shot- only thing I could think of would be to pan out a bit and go for a portrait shot with the flower in one of the corners.

Thanks again for the comments all, they were both cases where the flower looked as if it was begging to be photographed with the way the light was falling on them, but I still find flower photographs much harder than bug shots.
