Second last one is great, although IMHO it would have benefoted from a slightly lower shutter speed to put some blur into the front wheel.
Cheers,
Simon.

Nice shots Alan. That 500mm gives you a great angle at the complex.

Alan, so this is were you've been hiding.........
These are great, a friend of mine goes to Thruxton to watch touring cars,i've never been that interested. but Trucks, Wow!
I like them all, but No 3 is my favorite. i would never have thought to use 500mm ( to long? ) you proved me wrong.

I wouldn't like to have only a tyre wall and some Armco between me and them. Bad enough when a heavy car like a Jag hits the barrier at your feet, never mind one of those things.
I have a commercial shoot at Silverstone in a few weeks and my 500 will get one of its rare outings. I find it too restrictive for Oulton and Cadwell where I spend most of my time.
Why shoot in Av and end up with such high shutter speeds? Hope you don't mind me asking.

Great shots. This is one of those motorsports that I am surprised has never caught on here in the US.
