Hi all,

Was out exporing my garden again and came accross this series of events that I thought was really cool. The pics arent technically the best but C&C is welcome as always.

What do you guys think.. you gotta feel sorry for the ant and the poor little guy that got munched!!

Very nice shots. If I was the lady bug I'd be booking it out of there, ants always come back with friends.

3, 5 and 6 stand out for me.

Can you please specify which setup did you used ?
I can guess that the Canon 100mm is involved, but as is won't give such magnification
is it ?

Terrific set. I'm on the side of the ladybird every time. Aphids are pests.

That was a great start to my POTN browsing today! Had a good laugh over the narration :)

Geo - This was with the 100mm macro and a friends Kenko 36mm extension tube that I am currently borrowing. Really need to get some of those myself !! I also used 580ex on camea set to ETTL pointed straight forward with an omnibounce attached. Camera settings were ISO 400 1/250 f11.
