Following on from this thread here http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/icons/icon2.gif (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=200431) I thought I'd do another thread with some more pics.

So here goes. EXIFs are all there and PP is limited to none or a bit of VelviaVision and or some Unsharp Mask.

The usual 20D and Sigma 120-300 or 70-200 lenses were used. Sometimes both at the same time.

Tidy MkI 106 XSi through a damp Folly. 120-300

Lovely old Alfa GTV at Quarry. 120-300 again

Ginetta G4 gets a bit squirrelly coming into Quarry, Milano GT MkI watches on. 120-300...again

Same thing happens to this pretty Alfa

It wouldn't be a classic race day without one of these Healy 3000s
http://images18.fotki.com/v340/photos/1/105162/3868260/IMG_9913-vi.jpg

It also wouldn't be a set from me without a 1/60s pan, so here it is of a car of some sort. I mean a Triumph TR5. Used the 70-200 for this one.

Another Triumph, this time a TR6, fending off the Healy from a few shots back.

Finally a wide shot of the aftermath of Bob Higgins' trip to the scene of the accident. Driver was fine, car was a bit bent. I used the world's crappest lens for this, a Canon EF 28-105 f4-5.6 non USM. With a circular polariser on.

Good stuff Dave. thanks for sharing your detail as well, I am finding less and less time to share my pics and thoughts, especially at this point in the year!

Glad to see you getting more stuff published, it's progress on a very long road!

Nicely done Dave particularly the Healey & TR6. I've always harboured thoughts of TR6 ownership...if only i had somewhere to keep one.

By the way, i'm somewhat taken aback, mainly due to this being a motorsport thread in the motorsport forum  lol

Stranger things have happened Geoff, or so I have heard.

TR6, what was it that James May said about it on Tap Gear (the popular plumbing weekly)? The convertible you can own if you're a bloke or something? I don't watch much TV. Nice old motors, you'll pay a lot for a good one as well.

Just off to polish my 40D...
