G3 - Camera shake

Hi everyone,

I recently bought the G3. When taking pictures in modestly low light level (no flash), tripod and self timer, the camera indicates the "camera shake" icon on the LCD (lower left). The aperture is set not to indicate over or under exposure (i.e, red values) so I assume it thinks its getting suffient light. Is the G3 really telling me there is not enough light?

That's just an icon that shows up when your shutter speed gets slower than 1/50 sec. or thereabouts, and all it means is that you may get noticeable blurring due to hand shake if you decide not to use a tripod or some other means of stabilizing the camera. It doesn't actually sense that the camera is shaking or that you aren't using a tripod, just that you are using a slow shutter speed.
