Yestuday I decided to, instead of walking in the woods, walk around Pontiac Michigan and see what I could see. Now I think I like urban landscape more than nature.

Unfortunately I am limited to using only a 70-200 lens because I dropped my 24-70.

anyway, here are a few pictures I really like.

Please note I am partially colorblind so I have no idea if I am in the ball park with these.

This is purposely desaturaited.

You did just fine, and the colors are natural all-be-they a bit soft given what appears to be a cloudy day.

These are what I think one classifies as Street Photography. As I recall (digging a bit here) Henri Cartier Bresson was a French photographer who was gifted in this field. See http://www.npg.si.edu/exh/cb/flah1.htm

If you love this kind of photo, I think that you own work (3rd shot) may have to set a bit more story within the composition. Also, be sure you check about getting "releases" from subjects you catch on the street.

Some comments:
#1: would try to get the man more in the center
#2: may be landscape to show more of him?
#3: FEET!!
#4: would have lowered the camera a bit or would have choosen portrait

Exposure and colors are fine.

Thumbs Up To:
1. Good exposure, nice depth of field
2. intersting angle (and guy)
3. Made me laugh (such a steryotpical policeman)
4. Nice exposure (I like the background overexposed here)

Thumbs Down To:
1. If he was framed on the right, it would of been better
2. The white "blob" behind the guy's sholder is distracting
3. Like henkbos said FEET! feet are needed (I often cut them off too)
4. He would of been better on the far right, again, and a tad lower, his hat falling just shy from the top.
