Here is one I spotted at a local hospital. I really liked the reflective surface and colours. Is it a winner? Any suggestions?

Martin Paul.

Nice shot,
Well spotted and well exposed.
My only reservation is that there are two 'equal' subjects and you tend to 'bounce' your eye from one to the other and back again.
Can't really improve it, its still an excellent shot and actually I don't mind the two subjects thing too much, but I know some people who would find it less appealing.

Very nice shot. Colors and compo are great. Two minor things:
- clone away that little white pipe in the middle
- make the litte brown part in the bottom right green as well.
May be a little more saturation on the pipes?

I like it too, but it seems a little static. Then I thought of the twin towers, which there is a resemblance. What if this were part of a triptych of 2 tall things standing next to each other? The thing that comes to mind (other than the twin towers) is a shot of 2 tall beer mugs. 2 lava lamps? 2 Poplar trees (they are tall and cylindrical).
Get a theme going and see how they add to each other. One of my favorite subjects is doors. A photo of a door, fine, but 5 doors - interest! What is going on?
(Unrelated but while I was looking for images of Poplar trees to show you I stumbled across this:

Perhaps we should get him posting on this board)
