I have an hp 8250, which uses dye based ink. Im interested in trying new paper, and I will be trying ilford classic for my 8.5x11 paper, but they do not offer anything smaller.

HOWEVER, ilford's smooth line is available in 4x6 and 5x7 sizes. The only problem is that because its a nanopourous coating, Im worried that my dyes will suffer terrible fading.

If anyone has experience with dye based printing on ilford's smooth line, or any other nanopourous papers, Im eager to hear some input before I go buy a box to test with.

I would be open to trying other papers, but it seems that noone else offers printer profiles for my printer other than ilford.

Thank you in advance,
Bruce

Smooth Pearl Paper works great with HP. Just down load the profile from Illford.
