Hi everyone:D
I'm a newbie here and i'm so glad i found this place.
Hope you can help me out.

I've had the Powershot A620 for a while now and really pleased with it. And only just recently i've been taking video clips. The problem is when i play the video clip using Windows Media Player, the video play's twice as fast than normal. This happens on Quicktime too. The only time the video plays normal is when i play it back through my camera.

Has anyone experienced this?

Here's a quick video clip i've made.
Can someone download it please and tell me whether or not it plays fine for them.

If it doesnt , then there must be a problem with my camera:(

What settings are you shooting at? It seemed to play fine for me, but there's not really anything in it to let me gauge how fast it should be going. Maybe some audio? Mine at 640x480x30 fps plays fine, including audio.

You didn't get any audio? When i play the clip i get audio but the sound is speeded up as well.

The clip should normally be 12 seconds long. Does it play that long for you?
when i play it, it plays for 3 seconds and im also using the same settings as you

Tested on my two pcs, one running win98se and the other winXP pro, both plays video fine. I play it trough windows media 9 in both.

Maybe some codecs problem???

I also use Window media 9!? But if it plays fine for you then it must be my computer or codec problems. Thanks for for the help

Well, I didn't crank the volume up much - got a general background hum but only a couple of unintelligable words maybe at the end. It ran around 12 sec. though. Nothing wrong with the camera.
