I suppose since most people don't ride, they don't have an appreciation for the sport? I mean the forum is full of car racing, maybe because we all drive and can relate?

I think it's more to do with the way the shots are presented.
The shots that get the most responses seem to show the flow of a race or meeting and are accompanied by explanations/captions for each shot.
A single shot or even a pair are just too lonely to to pull you in and hold your interest for long enough to make it worthwhile spending the time commenting.

Some of us don't drive either :D

I've got some 1,300 odd mx shots up on my website but only post some up here if I've got a small collection that hangs together nicely.

I like seeing all the roost and it gives the sense of motion that the higher shutter takes away from the wheels.
