Wow, these are great panning shots! I like #1 and #3. Just enough motion blur, and the cars are pretty sharp. Too bad the rear was cropped out in #2. Did you do any post processing to these pictures? Great shots, especially for a P&S. I tried getting similar results as yours with my old Kodak 3MP camera, but it just wouldn't cut it, which is why I upgraded. :oops:

So which D1GP was this? I was there the last three D1GPs at Irwindale. I wonder if I actually saw you there then. :D

Also, how'd you end up on this forum? I noticed in your sig you have all these cameras but not one Canon. :p

Hey SonicYan. THanks for the compliments! I was there for the last two D1 GP's. You probably saw me there, I'm always wearing my red Honda hat. I had a media pass because my friend was shooting for drifting.com, so I got lucky there too! I did do some post processing. Saturation, color balance, sharpen, contrast.... haha, a lot to get it to this point, but I guess for a P&S, it's ok!

As for ending up on this forum, I've always been interested in shooting cars and motorsports. I'm a big JTuned fan. There were no other online forums that had a section where so many avid and professional photographers came together to show this type of photography.

Yeah, I had a media pass as well. I probably saw you then. Will be looking out for that red Honda hat next time. ;) I shoot for R-Toyz.com btw. Just an amateur webzine. Pales in comparison to the bigger webzines like Jtuned. I'm a fan of their style as well.

Anyway, glad you're on the forum. Again, good shots. I wouldn't have thought they came from a P&S. :p
