I did post these pics in the nature ...unfortunately I did not get any replies...so I am reposting them here.
Taken with Poweshot A75....with a reverse 50 mm attached.
Comments and critiques welcome.

Interesting looking flower, I like the first one better, as I think it is kinda wierd to be looking at the back side of a flower.

Backside green and yellow color combination is awesome. I like the first one too.

Agree with above- #1 is excellent but #2 does not do anything for me.

Never knew you could get that close with a powershot. #1 is awesome.
Not a fan of #2 though. Just isn't really that interesting.

I used a reversed 50 mm lens that I attached to the A 75 with a standard attachment. See the sticky in the small compacts forum by megaweb.

Hi nidus,
No1 is great, no2 doesn't grap me either though I like the idea of the colour difference.

The detail in the first one is lovely.
While I do like flowers shot from behind (see one of mine here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=63742&d=1142437883)), the comp and/or focus is a bit off on this one. Nice color combo though. :)
