I got it today - and I can tell you it´s wonderfull. 1/15s and tac sharp. It works absolutly super with the TC 2* and it´s really amazing what IS can do.

It took me over a year until I could decide to spend that bunch of money. I tell you it is worth every Pound, Dollar, Euro, or what ever.

Going to shoot now - when back, I show the pictures.

greets

Dieter

When you post the pictures please post them without touching them up. I want to see what the lense, not photoshop can do!!

Thanks

Looking forward to your pics! I am in the final decision making status whether I should do it or leave it. The pics I have seen so far were far beyond what I would have expected from a lens.

So, please share your photos with us as soon as possible.

J.

Hi TOM,

for shure! I arrive at the 17zh of december and I get my RV on the 18th. Then I have time until the 23rd to travel and shoot good pictures. And I plan do go to the desert areas. I have not decided until now wether it´s more the south part of CA and Arizona or the death valley.

Sounds like fun. I'll be thinking of you. Also, I'll see what I can do to arrange good weather for you. It's actually raining here today which is quite rare for our part of the world.

Take care,

Tom

Actually, I think desert landscapes are much improved with storm clouds rolling through, not to mention the comfort level!

Okay. I'll change that order from 'good weather,' to 'good weather with dramatic storm clouds.'

If I can get a little help from Harry Potter, you can consider it done.

I too just got the 70-200 from Canoga Camera.

This lens is awesome! Here are some pics from the back of an auditorium...(Jr. Miss show)

The pics aren't anything incredible, but the were all shot at 200 (or close) and wide open!

Enjoy!

The slide show utility you are using, is that from some software package? I think I've seen the same design before. Just curious.

Thanks,
Bobby
