Hi, i have just upgraded to 15b5_fix_2, it seems to have a new header, with "Exhibition Index" and "Lieksa Brass WWW", what file is this in, its not the header.php.

Thank You

oops, but its still dispalying, its not like the old header, its a much thinner header, with only two things in it. this one onlu has tow things in it "Exhibitions INDEX" and "Lieksa Brass WWW", they both have hyperlinks.

I am on the latest patch, if that makes a difference

It's either
/gallery/languages/XXX/header.php
or
/gallery/header.php

If you want to disable header make an empty one, do not delete or rename the file on the root.

THANK YOU Pekka... that was giving me problems too, spent hours on it... with what you just said, fixed it in five minutes. Thank you again.

I'm still having problems with making a New Exibition and not paying attention and then trying to change the default info for camera/lens etc and not being able to figure out how to do that for the whole exibition. What's the trick for that?

Ken

Set default photodata editor has a dropdown menu "Select exhibition".

First selection "Default photodata settings for a new exhibition" holds settings for all exhibitions that are to be created.

All other items on that menu hold exhibitions that are already in EE.

Settings on this page will be used for all new photos you add to those exhibitions. In upload page guess switches override some of them and use of EXIF and IPTC some.

When you need to do global changes on several photos which are already in EE at once, use "EE powertools" which lets you change specific things on selected photos with one command.

Thank you again Pekka!! :)
Followed your directions EXACTLY... worked easily and did what I wanted it to do EXACTLY. NICE!

Now, another question: When I did that, it said select photos to change, most of the photos are listed as :New Photo ex:
123:New Photo
124:New Photo
125:New Photo
etc

How do I get the NAMES of the photos to show instead of NEW PHOTO in that spot? Make it MUCH easier to choose which ones to change.

Hi Pekka,
I have also had problems with forgetting to set the data for a new exhibition. Your suggestion for the setting the default photo data for all new exhibitions is great, thank you.

It would still be great though to be able to have a "Apply/Reapply default photo data to all photos in current exhibition (or maybe even ability to select certian photos from a list)" and maybe even an option to do this to all photos in all exhibitions. I know you can do some of this with the powertools, but you can't do it with all pieces of data.

For instance, when I made my paths, I made one for "Original" size/resolution but now I don't want that as an option for my images. I know I can delete the path from the path editor, but I would rather leave it there as an option for later use. Right now I would have to go thru each image to change this which would take too much time.

What do you think?

Best,
Kd
