Need help with S2 IS

I came across this on the website and was wondering how I go about turning off the flash sync...

"The fastest shutter speed for flash synchronization is 1/500 second. The camera automatically resets the shutter speed to 1/500 second if a faster speed is selected."


I did a quick search online and in the book but didn't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Never mind... I think I figured it out after a little more research :oops:

Umm, pretty sure the flash sync only goes to 1/60sec, could be wrong though...

The maximum flash sync is 1/500ths of a second on the S2 and S3, should you use a speed over 1/500ths the camera will fall back to 1/500ths.
