I believe that both are built around the CANON Powershot SDK.

Don't like it? Big deal, didn't cost you anything. Pay the $26.95 and don't like it. You're out $26.95

I've tried the freebee out, from -2 to +2 exposure comp. and it works fine. I think people are making too much of the FEC problem, I use a 420 flash and I'm generally happy with the results it gives.

Maybe bumping up the exposure a little bit will calm some people down. The FEC problem was known in different forums within a week of the 300D/REBEL release. Yet to this day, people still show up complaining how it's news to them.

You want it all, then pay for it. I wasn't prepared to pay for a 10D and I'm perfectly sastified with my Rebel.
