All right.. so where is this? I spend more then a few weekends down on Oak Island and would love to catch some surf action but all there is down my way are horrible shore breakers. I would love to see some of this stuff.... It's the one thing I do miss from California. I don't miss the freaking cold water in CA.

Oh.... very cool shot. I would love to get a water housing but that is just so far down the peiority list. I will just have to enjoy stuff from people like you. Cheers.

nice shot, unusual angle

Cool shot. I dont like the fact that most of the shot is lacking any action. If you were a couple feet forward the wave would have filled more of the frame. I know with water photography its a matter of being in the right position at the right time so it isnt your fault.

I think its one of the reasons I still shoot from land. I dont usually like wide angles in the water unless the waves are big and hollow.
