Problem with LCD of A540

Hello everyone!
Well i bought this canon A540 camera 4 mths back, it was working fine,untill one morning out of the blue i saw a black spot on the corner of LCD,i thought there is some dirt in the lens or something, which i couldn't clean.When i shot the pic, it was apparent in the images as well.In addition whenever i zoom in the black sopt became more obvious.I don't know what is wrong with my cam, does anyone 've experienced this kinna problem & got it fixed.I'm glad that it is still under warranty period. any comments or suggestion plz.

Sounds like dust speck on the imaging sensor, kind of unusual for non interchangeable lens cameras. If it's really annoying, send it in for service check.
